New York, September 23, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold a key meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House on September 25, official sources confirmed on Tuesday.

Shehbaz is currently in New York to attend the 80th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where he is also expected to meet several other world leaders.

Diplomatic sources said the exact timing of the White House meeting will be finalized within the next 24 to 48 hours. The discussion between the two leaders will be of an exclusive and private nature.

There is also a possibility that Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, may join the meeting, sources added.
