Islamabad October 30, 2025: Chairman Tehreek-e-Inqilab Pakistan Mohammad Arif has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s meeting with his party leader Imran Khan is his constitutional and legal right, adding that any attempt to obstruct the meeting amounts to a violation of fundamental human rights.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Mohammad Arif said that preventing the chief minister from meeting the founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) despite court orders constitutes contempt of court.

He urged Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take notice of the matter and ensure that the chief minister is allowed to meet Imran Khan without further delay.

“The meeting between Sohail Afridi and Imran Khan will not bring doomsday,” Arif remarked, adding that several key administrative matters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remain pending due to the lack of consultation between the chief minister and his party leader.

He stressed that the consultation between the KP chief minister and Imran Khan should be facilitated at the earliest to ensure smooth governance and decision-making in the province.
