Rawalpindi, November 17, 2025: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi on Monday took strict action against the repeated absence of accused Aleema Khanum in the case related to the November protest registered at Sadiqabad Police Station, reissuing non-bailable warrants against her for the second time and summoning her property records from the Punjab Board of Revenue.

Court documents revealed that Aleema Khanum owns approximately 338 kanals (around 42 acres) of land across four districts. The court also directed the freezing of 15 additional bank accounts, bringing the total frozen accounts to 37.

During the hearing presided over by ATC Judge Amjad Shah, three accused appeared in person, while seven were represented through their lawyers. Prosecution witnesses and the legal team were fully present.

The court noted that if Aleema Khanum continues to remain absent, she could be declared a proclaimed offender, and her properties may be confiscated. According to the Punjab Board of Revenue report, her properties include,

  • Bhakkar: 51 kanals 16 marlas
  • Lahore: 1 kanal 4 marlas; 1 kanal 1 marla (Mauza Nurpur Kamboh, Lahore Cantonment)
  • Raiwind: 64 kanals 14 marlas (Mauza Sultan)
  • Mianwali: 217 kanals 5 marlas
  • Sheikhupura: 4 kanals 13 marlas

Financial directives issued by the court include freezing 7 accounts in Allied Bank Limited and 15 accounts in United Bank Limited.

Warrants issued against Chairman CDA

Additionally, the court highlighted the absence of responses from the CDA Chairman and the Commissioner Islamabad, despite reminders and a contempt of court notice. Non-bailable warrants were issued against him, with the IG Islamabad directed to execute them immediately.

The court also noted that one surety related to vehicles appeared, while non-bailable warrants were reissued for two other sureties yet to be arrested. The hearing was adjourned until November 20.
