Dubai, November 19, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest player rankings, featuring notable movements in both the ODI batting and bowling charts.

New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell has surged to the No. 1 spot in ODI batting, displacing India’s Rohit Sharma. Mitchell becomes only the second New Zealand batter to achieve this milestone, following Glenn Turner, who last held the top position in 1979.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam climbed one place to reach sixth position, while Salman Ali Agha held steady at 15th. Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman both recorded impressive five-place jumps, now sitting at 22nd and 26th, respectively.

In ODI bowling, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to lead the table. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed made a remarkable leap of eleven places, breaking into the top ten at ninth. Conversely, Shaheen Afridi slipped five spots, now ranked 21st.

The updated rankings reflect the impactful performances of players across recent ODI series and highlight Pakistan’s growing presence among top international cricketers.
