Former Army Man and Professional Fighter Now Orchestrates Major International Bouts, Placing Indian Boxers on the Same Cards as Mike Tyson and Jake Paul

Dubai: Kuldeep Singh Keepa has transformed from a national-level boxer into India’s most influential boxing promoter, orchestrating historic international fights and managing some of the country’s biggest boxing talents on the world stage.

Born in Badiala (Bathinda) and having served in the Indian Army, Keepa began his professional boxing career in 2008. After a head injury forced his retirement in 2014, he immediately pivoted to promotion and management—a decision that would reshape Indian boxing’s international presence.

Keepa has since managed hundreds of Indian boxers and personally accompanied fighters to competitions in over 50 countries across America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Asia. His roster includes fighters who have competed on the same cards as boxing legends, most notably when Neeraj Goyat faced Whindersson Nunes on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul undercard on November 15, 2024.

Goyat also participated in a landmark India–Mexico bout against José Zepeda, further cementing India’s place in international boxing.

Working with top global promoters including Bob Arum (Top Rank), Oscar De La Hoya (Golden Boy Promotions), Frank Warren (Queensberry Promotions), and Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing), Keepa has built relationships with all major world boxing sanctioning bodies—WBC, WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF. He has attended international boxing conventions since 2014–2015, establishing India as a serious player in professional boxing.

Beyond promotion, Keepa has contributed his expertise to Indian cinema, choreographing boxing sequences and training actors for major films including RRR (Ram Charan), Mukkabaaz (Vineet Kumar), Toofaan (Farhan Akhtar), Saala Khadoos (R. Madhavan), and Ghani (Varun Tej).

Keepa’s passionate coaching style gained viral attention online when his energetic Punjabi motivational speech during Neeraj Goyat’s fight captured global audiences, showcasing his deep commitment to his fighters.

Currently, Keepa ensures Indian boxers compete in international events monthly, collaborating with promoters across multiple continents and providing consistent opportunities for Indian talent on the global stage.

“My mission is to take Indian boxing to unprecedented heights,” Keepa stated. “Every fighter deserves their chance on the world stage, and I’m committed to making that happen for India’s boxers.”

With a proven track record of placing Indian fighters in major international competitions and historic money fights, Kuldeep Singh Keepa continues to expand India’s footprint in global professional boxing.
