Dubai, December 11, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday announced the launch of the first phase of ticket sales for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. More than two million tickets are now available, with prices starting as low as INR 100 in India and LKR 1,000 in Sri Lanka.

The ICC said the low and affordable pricing aims to provide cricket fans with a fair and equitable opportunity to attend the landmark 10th edition of the tournament. Details regarding Phase II ticket sales will be announced at a later date.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta called the first phase of ticket sales an “important milestone” in delivering the most accessible and global ICC event ever staged.”

He said, “Our vision for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is clear: every fan, regardless of background, geography, or financial means, should have the chance to experience world-class cricket live in stadiums. With tickets starting from just ₹100 and LKR 1000, we are putting affordability at the centre of our strategy.”

The 10th edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup will take place from February 7 to March 8, 2026, featuring 20 teams divided into four groups of five. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight stage, followed by two semi-finals and a final.

The tournament will open with Pakistan facing the Netherlands, while hosts and defending champions India take on the United States of America (USA) in Mumbai on the same day. The group stage concludes on February 20 with Australia vs Oman in Kandy. The Super Eight matches will run from February 21 to March 1, with semi-finals on March 4 and 5. The final will be held on March 8 in either Ahmedabad or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification, as the 2009 champions will play all their matches in Sri Lanka.

The ICC emphasized that the T20 World Cup 2026 aims to offer fans an immersive, in-stadium experience, celebrating the energy, excitement, and global spirit of cricket.
