Islamabad, January 2, 2026: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, to discuss avenues for strengthened bilateral cooperation, particularly in the minerals and energy sectors.
During the meeting, the minister confirmed Pakistan’s full participation in the upcoming Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in Riyadh later this month, upon the invitation of the Saudi government. Pakistan will feature a dedicated pavilion titled “Pakistan – The Mineral Marvel”, highlighting the country’s vast geological potential and mineral resources to the global investment and mining community.
The Pakistani delegation, led by Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, will include thirteen state-owned and private sector mineral companies, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to attracting foreign investment and promoting collaboration in the minerals sector. The forum is expected to provide a platform for showcasing Pakistan’s resources and exploring strategic partnerships with the international mineral community.
