Dar meets DAMAC Group leadership to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan

Islamabad, January 7, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday met with Amira Hussain Sajwani, Co-Managing Director of the DAMAC Group and Co-Founder and CEO of Prypco, along with her delegation, to discuss avenues for enhancing foreign investment in Pakistan.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on leveraging Pakistan’s economic potential to promote sustainable growth across key sectors. Discussions also covered innovative financial instruments and investment mechanisms aimed at attracting greater private sector participation.

Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and encouraged increased engagement by the private sector to drive innovation, economic growth and long-term development.
