Dera Ismail Khan, October 25, 2024-Ten Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred in a tragic attack on a security check post by militants from the Fitna al-Khawarij group in the Darazinda area of Dera Ismail Khan.

The attack targeted the ZAM FC check post during the night, with FC personnel heroically engaging the terrorists despite being outnumbered, ultimately laying down their lives in defense of their post.

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, expressing deep sorrow and denouncing other recent violent incidents, including the firing on a Station House Officer’s (SHO) vehicle in Bannu and an attack on a sub-inspector in Kohat. He honored the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers, emphasizing that their dedication strengthens the nation’s resolve to fight against terrorism.

Naqvi shared that six of the martyred soldiers were from South Waziristan and four were from Karak, highlighting their courage and commitment to safeguarding Pakistan.
