Copenhagen, January 16, 2026: Representatives of the Sikh community in Denmark called on Pakistan’s Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar and expressed keen interest in visiting Pakistan to participate in Vaisakhi celebrations.

During the meeting, the ambassador highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and facilitating religious tourism. He presented the visitors with a copy of “Sikh Heritage in Pakistan,” a publication showcasing historic gurdwaras and sacred Sikh sites across the country, including places of deep religious and cultural significance for the Sikh community.

The interaction underscored growing people-to-people contacts and the interest of the Sikh diaspora in reconnecting with their religious heritage in Pakistan.
