Karachi, January 27, 2026: The fourth consignment of relief goods from China for victims of recent natural calamities in Pakistan has arrived in Karachi, further strengthening ongoing humanitarian assistance efforts.
The latest shipment comprises 1,000 sleeping bags, 14,000 tents, and 12,000 blankets. Upon arrival, the relief goods were transported by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to a designated warehouse in Karachi for storage and onward distribution.
With the arrival of this consignment, Pakistan has so far received a total of 45,000 blankets, 20,000 tents, 100 boats, 1,000 life jackets, and 5,000 sleeping bags from China under four separate aid shipments.
The NDMA stated that all available resources are being mobilized to support disaster-affected communities, adding that the distribution of relief goods will be ensured in affected areas in line with assessed needs.
