Islamabad, February 2, 2026: At the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will undertake his first State Visit to Pakistan from February 3 to 4, 2026.
President Tokayev will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising senior cabinet ministers and other top officials. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet the President of Pakistan, hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and address the Pakistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum.
The visit will provide both sides with an important and timely opportunity to conduct a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and explore new avenues for expanding cooperation, particularly in trade, logistics, regional connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges. Discussions are also expected to cover collaboration at regional and international forums.
The forthcoming visit underscores the strengthening ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, reflecting their shared commitment to translating historic and cultural affinities into concrete cooperation, and their common aspiration for peace, stability, and progress in the region.
