New York, February 3, 2026: The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, received Ms. Anjum Anwar, President of the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled and Founder of Helping Hands & Caring Souls, at the Consulate.
During the meeting, Ms. Anwar briefed the Consul General on her organizations’ humanitarian work for needy and deserving communities in Pakistan, as well as her ongoing fundraising tour across the United States.
Mr. Atozai commended her sustained efforts in social welfare and humanitarian service, acknowledging the positive impact of her initiatives on vulnerable populations. He also reassured her of the Consulate’s full support and facilitation for projects aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged segments of society.
