Islamabad, March 25, 2026: Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan Raimundas Karoblis called on Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional security.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, with particular focus on enhancing cooperation across various sectors. The defence minister underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its longstanding partnership with the European Union and reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to further strengthening engagement.
Discussions also covered the evolving regional and global security environment, with both sides agreeing on the need for sustained dialogue and cooperation to address shared challenges.
The meeting reflects continued diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and the European Union amid shifting geopolitical dynamics and a shared interest in promoting stability and cooperation.
