Islamabad, April 7, 2026: Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned missile and drone attacks allegedly carried out by Iran on energy facilities in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, terming the strikes a serious violation of sovereignty and a threat to regional stability.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Pakistan expressed deep concern over the escalation and unequivocally denounced the attacks, which reportedly resulted in loss of life and damage to critical infrastructure.

Pakistan conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia during what it described as a “difficult time.” The statement also deplored the destruction caused to vital energy installations.

Calling the incident a dangerous escalation, Pakistan underscored that such actions undermine peace and stability in the region. It reiterated its firm support for the Kingdom’s security and territorial integrity.

The Foreign Office emphasized the need for restraint and adherence to international law to prevent further deterioration of the regional security environment.
