Karachi, April 13, 2026: Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to field first against league leaders Peshawar Zalmi in the 21st match of the Pakistan Super League Season 11 at National Bank Stadium on Monday.

The clash promises high-intensity action as both sides enter the contest in impressive form. Historically, the two teams have faced each other 18 times, with Multan Sultans holding the upper hand through 11 victories, while the 2017 champions Peshawar Zalmi have secured seven wins.

Their most recent encounter took place in the previous edition of the PSL, where Zalmi registered a commanding seven-wicket victory after having earlier defeated the Sultans by a massive 120-run margin in the same tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi head into the fixture unbeaten in the ongoing season. They have won four of their five matches, while their game against Islamabad United was abandoned due to rain in Lahore. With nine points, Zalmi currently sit atop the PSL standings.

Multan Sultans, meanwhile, have also enjoyed a strong campaign, securing four victories from their first five matches. Their only defeat came against defending champions Lahore Qalandars in a rain-affected encounter at Lahore.

With both teams showcasing formidable form, the match is set to play a crucial role in shaping the tournament’s points table as PSL 11 progresses.
