Ayaz Sadiq condoles death of veteran journalist Maqbool Elahi Malik

Islamabad, May 9, 2026: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of senior journalist Maqbool Elahi Malik, who was associated with The Nation.

In a condolence message, the NA Speaker paid rich tribute to the late journalist’s services to the field of journalism, saying that Maqbool Elahi Malik’s professional excellence and valuable contributions would be remembered for years to come.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family, stating that he equally shares their grief during this difficult time.

He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bless the bereaved family with patience and strength to bear this irreparable loss.
