FPCCI, Beijing TDD sign MoU to boost Pakistan-China trade by $100 million

Islamabad, May 13, 2026: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Beijing TDD E-Commerce Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of IBI Group, have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and China with an estimated annual business target of $100 million.

The agreement was signed by FPCCI Vice President Tariq Khan Jadoon on behalf of FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh and by Liu Junzhai, who also serves as Founder and CEO of TDD and Chairwoman of YDD, LLDD, NEDD and CNAUTO.

The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaisar Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Industry and Production Haroon Akhtar and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi.

Several business leaders and representatives from chambers of commerce also attended the event, including officials from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Under the agreement, FPCCI and Beijing TDD E-Commerce will jointly promote bilateral trade across 10 major industrial sectors. The priority areas include renewable energy, information technology and digital services, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, automotive and electric vehicles, textiles and engineering.

The collaboration also aims to strengthen economic ties through business-to-business matchmaking, industrial cooperation and investment initiatives between the two countries.
