Islamabad, May 17,2026: The Royal Thai Embassy organized the “Thai Unitry Games 2026” at the Embassy premises.

The event was one of the activities aimed at bringing together members of the Thai community in Islamabad and nearby cities.

Participants enjoyed a variety of sports, including volleyball, sepak takraw, badminton, table tennis, as well as traditional games.

During the opening ceremony, the Ambassador emphasized that the event was intended to strengthen unity within the Thai community, encourage mutual support, and promote the values of sportsmanship, including graciousness in victory and defeat.

The event also provided an opportunity for Thais from different professional backgrounds and locations to get to know one another, while fostering constructive interaction with the Embassy.

In the evening, the Embassy hosted the “Ambassador Meets the Thai Community” gathering, which provided an opportunity to learn about the well-being of the Thai community and engage in warm and friendly conversations.

The evening continued with cultural performances by students from the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), followed by dinner in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The event reflected the importance the Embassy places on the welfare and care of the Thai community in Pakistan.

It also served as a platform to strengthen ties among Thais living abroad, with the aim of fostering a strong and resilient overseas Thai community.
