Dar, Qatari minister discuss regional situation, stress diplomatic engagement

Islamabad, May 18, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday held a telephonic conversation with Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi to discuss the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

According to the Foreign Office, both leaders exchanged views on regional developments and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomatic engagement in addressing emerging challenges.

During the conversation, Al-Khulaifi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and its ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting regional harmony and cooperation.

Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing the shared objectives of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation on issues of mutual concern between Pakistan and Qatar.
