Islamabad, May 20, 2026: A high-level Chinese delegation led by Cai Dafeng arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday to participate in commemorative activities marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation was received by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, along with Romina Khurshid Alam, who serves as Convener of the Pakistan-China Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The visiting delegation will remain in Islamabad from May 20 to 21 and is scheduled to attend a series of events organized to commemorate the longstanding diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.
Pakistan and China established diplomatic relations in 1951, and the two countries have since developed a close strategic partnership spanning economic, political, defense, and cultural cooperation.
