Islamabad, May 25,2026: President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has expressed deep sorrow and condolences to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following the deadly suicide terrorist attack on a passenger train in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
In a condolence message addressed to the Pakistani prime minister, President Rahmon said the tragic incident, which resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, had caused “immense grief and sorrow.”
The Tajik leader strongly condemned the terrorist attack and reiterated his country’s consistent opposition to terrorism in all its forms, stressing the importance of continuing a relentless struggle against the global menace.
“I express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to You, the friendly and brotherly people of Pakistan, and to the relatives and close ones of the martyrs,” the message stated.
President Rahmon also prayed for mercy and forgiveness for those who lost their lives and wished a full recovery to all those injured in the attack.
