Islamabad, May 30, 2026: President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, Lorenzo Fontana, has praised Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and diplomatic engagement amid the ongoing tensions in the Gulf region.
In a letter addressed to Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Fontana acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to support de-escalation, foster regional stability, and encourage peaceful solutions during a challenging period for the region.
