Islamabad, May 31, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming diplomatic engagements.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Dar reviewed ongoing preparations for forthcoming bilateral and multilateral diplomatic interactions and emphasized the importance of comprehensive planning and effective coordination.
The deputy prime minister directed officials to ensure thorough preparation and timely follow-up on all diplomatic initiatives to advance Pakistan’s political, strategic and economic interests at the international level.
He stressed the need for close coordination among relevant departments to maximize the outcomes of Pakistan’s diplomatic engagements and strengthen the country’s presence on the global stage.
The meeting also reviewed mechanisms for implementing diplomatic priorities and ensuring effective representation of Pakistan’s interests in upcoming international forums and engagements.
