Portugal Ambassador meets Governor Punjab

Lahore , July 10: As part of his official visit to Lahore, the Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Paulo Guedes Domingues, paid a courtesy call on Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor of Punjab.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to reaffirm the longstanding friendship between Portugal and Pakistan .During the meeting they exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Discussions focused on expanding collaboration in trade and investment, higher education, tourism, culture, renewable energy, agriculture and people-to-people contacts, while highlighting Punjab’s growing role as one of Pakistan’s leading economic and industrial hubs.

Ambassador Paulo Domingues thanked the Governor for the warm hospitality extended during his visit to Lahore and reaffirmed Portugal’s commitment to further deepening its partnership with Pakistan, including through stronger engagement with the Province of Punjab.
