Rawalpindi, November 20, 2024 – Significant progress has been reported regarding meetings held in Adiala Jail between the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and senior party leaders. Sources confirm that the PTI founder has given the green signal to Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Ali Amin Gandapur to advance negotiations.

The party chairman met Barrister Gohar and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on their visit to Adiala Jail yesterday, where they presented a proposal to move the dialogue process forward.

The PTI founder reportedly raised objections to certain aspects of the proposal and requested additional time for further deliberation. However, he approved the continuation of negotiations, delegating Barrister Gohar and Ali Amin Gandapur to take the lead in the process.

During today’s meeting, the PTI founder was briefed on the progress of the talks, expressing satisfaction with the developments so far. Sources described the initial phase of the negotiation process as encouraging, with all parties agreeing to continue efforts.

Further progress in the negotiations is expected to influence the decision regarding the planned protest on November 24.
