Islamabad, August 11, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono on Tuesday, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the evolving situation concerning US-Iran engagements.
Sugiono appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and important role in promoting dialogue and facilitating efforts aimed at advancing peace and stability.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in key priority areas and emphasised the importance of maintaining close contacts between Pakistan and Indonesia.
