Islamabad, August 14, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Friday, with the two sides reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Egypt.
During the telephone conversation, Foreign Minister Abdelatty conveyed warm greetings to the leadership, government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day and wished Pakistan continued peace, progress and prosperity.
The two foreign ministers expressed their shared desire to expand bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest. They also emphasized the importance of enhanced high-level exchanges and closer institutional engagement to further deepen relations between the two countries.
Dar and Abdelatty also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest and agreed to remain in close contact on matters of common concern.
