Islamabad, August 25, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Tuesday, discussing bilateral relations, regional developments and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign ministers also discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Regional Four (R4) Foreign Ministers and other forthcoming multilateral engagements.
Dar and Fidan agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on issues of mutual interest.
The conversation comes amid heightened regional diplomatic activity and efforts by Pakistan and Türkiye to coordinate their positions on regional and international developments.
