Lahore, September 4, 2026: Ambassador of Ireland to Pakistan Mary O’Neill met Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora to learn about the initiatives and work being undertaken in Punjab to advance and protect the rights of minorities.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters related to the protection and promotion of minority rights, human rights and social harmony.
The Embassy of Ireland said that protecting and promoting human rights are a shared priority for Ireland and the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
