Dubai, September 5, 2026: Pakistan women’s cricket team suffered their lowest-ever total in T20 internationals on Saturday after being bowled out for just 55 against arch-rivals India in the ninth match of the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Opting to bat first, Pakistan made a steady start as openers Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqar put together 27 runs during the opening five overs.
India eventually broke the partnership when Shafali Verma dismissed Muneeba, who scored 13 off 15 balls, including one boundary.
Shawaal departed in the following over after being dismissed by Shree Charani. She top-scored for Pakistan with 14 off 14 deliveries.
The dismissals triggered a dramatic collapse. Gull Feroza was dismissed for a duck, while Pakistan captain Sana was also removed without scoring. The Green Shirts lost their remaining seven wickets for only 26 runs and were bowled out for 55 in 18.1 overs.
The total surpassed Pakistan’s previous lowest score in women’s T20Is — 56 against New Zealand at the same Dubai venue during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024.
Against India, Pakistan’s previous lowest total was 63, recorded during the 2012 Women’s T20 Asia Cup in Guangzhou, China.
