Dar reviews Pakistan’s programme for 81st UN General Assembly session

Islamabad, September 15, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on Tuesday to review Pakistan’s programme for the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The Foreign Secretary and Special Secretary (UN) briefed the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister on the proposed programme, including high-level engagements, bilateral meetings and other key engagements planned on the sidelines of the UNGA session.

Ishaq Dar reviewed the proposed programme and provided guidance on its priorities and arrangements.

He directed that close coordination and full readiness be ensured for Pakistan’s active engagement during the high-level session.
