Islamabad, September 15, 2026: Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Dan Stoenescu met a delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), led by Vice President Tariq Khan Jadoon, to discuss ways to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Romania and Pakistan.

The meeting also focused on preparations for an FPCCI business delegation’s visit to Romania in November.

The delegation is expected to visit Bucharest, Brașov and Cluj-Napoca, where Pakistani and Romanian business communities will explore concrete opportunities for partnerships, trade and investment.

FPCCI, the apex representative body of Pakistan’s business community, represents key sectors including textiles, agriculture, machinery, cutlery and other industries.

The Romanian Embassy in Pakistan continues to prioritise expanding bilateral trade and creating new opportunities for the private sectors of both countries.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment to translating dialogue into practical business cooperation, investment and long-term partnerships between Pakistan and Romania.
