Islamabad, September 18, 2026: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and discussed Pakistan-UK relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also reviewed understandings reached during Ishaq Dar’s recent visit to the United Kingdom in August.
The deputy prime minister stressed the importance of sustained high-level engagement between Pakistan and the UK.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
