Islamabad, September 25,2026: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) hosted Portuguese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Paulo Domingues, for a wide-ranging discussion on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Portugal.
The discussions covered investment opportunities in key sectors, including textiles, agriculture, information and communication technology (ICT), pharmaceuticals, and Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones.
SIFC officials also appreciated the launch of FC Porto’s Dragon Force Academy in Sialkot, established in partnership with Forward Sports. The academy is the first of its kind in Pakistan and brings one of Europe’s leading football clubs to the country.
SIFC reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating international investors and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships to strengthen Pakistan’s economic ties with Portugal.
