Islamabad, October 6,2026: Ambassador-designate of Switzerland to Pakistan Stéphane Rey paid a courtesy call on High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan Fatou Harerimana in Islamabad.
The two diplomats exchanged views on Rwanda-Switzerland relations and discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.
During the meeting, Rey commended Rwanda’s progress in tourism, economic development and improving livelihoods following the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
He also highlighted Rwanda’s achievements in rebuilding the country and advancing its national development.
