Lahore, October 19,2026: Pakistan’s women’s cricket team will participate in the ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 12 to 26.

The national squad will be selected based on players’ performances in the ongoing National Women’s T20 Tournament in Faisalabad, where cricketers are competing to secure places in the team for the international assignment.

The final of the domestic tournament is scheduled for October 25, giving selectors an opportunity to assess players’ form and performances before finalising the squad.

The ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy will feature 10 teams divided into two groups of five, followed by a Super Six stage to determine the sides progressing further in the competition.

Pakistan have been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, hosts Thailand, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe. Group A comprises Ireland, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Scotland and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
