Rawalpindi, October 28,2026: Security forces have killed nine terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Kachhi and Wadh districts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
According to the military’s media wing, the operations were conducted on October 26 following reports about the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored group Fitna Al Hindustan.
In the first operation in Kachhi district, security forces busted a terrorist hideout after an intense exchange of fire, killing seven terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the site.
In a separate operation in Wadh district, security forces tracked and intercepted the movement of terrorists. Following an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed, while weapons and ammunition were recovered.
The ISPR said sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area.
It added that the counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
