Lahore, November 3,2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced a 15-member Pakistan Shaheens squad for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar, from November 19 to 29.

Emerging middle-order batter Abdul Samad will captain the defending champions, who have been placed in Group B alongside Nepal, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and arch-rivals India.

Samad will lead a strong batting line-up featuring Hasan Nawaz, Maaz Sadaqat, Haider Ali, Shahzaib Khan, Farhan Yousuf and Shamyl Hussain. Rohail Nazir has been named as the team’s wicketkeeper.

Right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain will spearhead the pace attack, supported by Ahmed Daniyal, Akif Javed and Muhammad Imran Randhawa.

The spin department comprises left-arm all-rounder Danish Aziz, leg-spinner Saad Masood and Sufyan Moqim.

Pakistan Shaheens will begin their campaign against the UAE on November 20 before taking on traditional rivals India on November 22. Their final group-stage fixture will be against Nepal on November 24.

Under the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled for November 26 and 27. The final will be played on November 29.
