Islamabad, November 4,2026: Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues visited the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, on Wednesday and held a meeting with Rector Maj Gen Shahid Mahmood Kayani, HI(M) (Retd).
NUML Director General Brigadier Muhammad Rafiq Khan was also present during the meeting. The meeting focused on promoting academic collaboration, cultural exchange and strengthening educational relations between Pakistan and Portugal.
Both sides discussed the importance of international engagement in promoting mutual understanding and creating new opportunities for academic and cultural cooperation. The visit reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan and Portugal to expanding institutional linkages and exploring avenues for cooperation in higher education.
