Islamabad, November 6,2026: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasir has said that promoting education and nurturing the potential of young people through quality learning and skills development are essential for national progress, prosperity and economic stability.

He said educated and talented youth were the true architects of Pakistan’s bright future and that providing them with equal opportunities to acquire modern knowledge and practical skills was a national priority.

He expressed these views while presenting the first-ever degree of Alhamd Islamic University to Ms. Rubab Tabassum, congratulating her on this significant academic achievement and wishing her success in her future endeavours.

On the occasion, the Deputy Chairman Senate congratulated Alhamd Islamic University President Professor Dr. Shakeel Roshan, the university administration, faculty members and staff on achieving this important milestone in the institution’s academic journey.

He appreciated the university’s efforts to promote quality education, observing that educational institutions not only impart knowledge and awareness but also prepare young people to meet future challenges and contribute effectively to national development.

Syedal Khan Nasir said Pakistan’s youth possessed immense talent, competence and creative potential, which needed to be nurtured through greater access to quality education, modern knowledge and practical training.

He expressed confidence that with appropriate opportunities, young Pakistanis could demonstrate their capabilities at national and international levels and emerge as valuable assets to the country.

The Deputy Chairman Senate said the government was pursuing reforms and initiatives to improve the education system, promote learning and increase the literacy rate.

He emphasised that coordinated efforts by public and private educational institutions were essential to achieving these objectives.

He also stressed the need to ensure an enabling educational environment and equal opportunities so that every young person could progress according to their abilities and contribute to the country’s development.

Syedal Khan Nasir further observed that national interests should take precedence over political affiliations and differences, adding that a shared vision, coordinated strategy and practical measures were necessary to promote education and improve literacy.

He reaffirmed the importance of encouraging positive initiatives by public and private institutions, saying their contribution to equipping young people with knowledge and skills was vital to strengthening Pakistan’s future.
