Dubai, December 11, 2024: Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has been awarded the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2024, following his remarkable contributions to Pakistan’s historic series victory in Australia.

Rauf showcased stellar form throughout the month, claiming 18 wickets across formats. His standout performance came during Pakistan’s ODI series against Australia, where he secured 10 wickets in three matches, leading Pakistan to their first ODI series win on Australian soil in 22 years.

The highlight of his campaign was in the second ODI in Adelaide. With Pakistan trailing 1-0 in the series, Rauf delivered a sensational spell, taking 5 wickets for just 29 runs. His fiery bowling restricted Australia to a mere 163 runs, enabling Pakistan to secure a nine-wicket victory and level the series. In the decisive third ODI, Rauf added two more wickets to his tally and was named Player of the Series as Pakistan triumphed 2-1.

Rauf’s brilliance extended beyond Australia. In the subsequent T20I series, he claimed 5 wickets, including a four-wicket haul in Sydney. He continued his impressive run on Pakistan’s tour of Zimbabwe, taking 3 wickets in three ODIs and contributing to a 2-1 series win.

Rauf’s exceptional performances throughout November earned him the Player of the Month title, surpassing India’s Jasprit Bumrah and South Africa’s Marco Jansen for the honor.
