Mumbai, December 20,2024: Riding high on the global success of his Dil-Luminati Tour, Punjabi music icon Diljit Dosanjh has claimed the top spot on the UK’s list of Top 50 Asian Celebrities, outshining Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan and South Indian superstar Allu Arjun.

At the pinnacle of his career as both an actor and international musician, Dosanjh has secured his place as the leading Asian celebrity in the UK, surpassing prominent names like last year’s chart-topper Shah Rukh Khan, Pushpa star Allu Arjun, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, and global icons Priyanka Chopra and Arijit Singh.

Following Dosanjh in the top five are British singer Charli XCX, actors Allu Arjun, Dev Patel, and Priyanka Chopra. Tamil cinema superstar Thalapathy Vijay holds the sixth spot, edging ahead of Indian playback singer Arijit Singh.

Other notable Indian personalities in the list include Prabhas at 14th, Rajkummar Rao, Kartik Aaryan (25th), Amitabh Bachchan (26th), Alia Bhatt (30th), Shah Rukh Khan (32nd), and Hrithik Roshan (47th).

This year, Dosanjh released two Bollywood films, Crew and Amar Singh Chamkila, alongside the Punjabi hit Jatt & Juliet 3. All three projects were celebrated for their commercial success and critical acclaim.

On the music front, the 40-year-old superstar is currently touring India as part of his sold-out Dil-Luminati Tour. The tour, which has seen an overwhelming response, will conclude in Guwahati on December 29.

Reacting to this monumental achievement, Dosanjh shared a screengrab of the news on his Instagram Stories, accompanied by his empowering track Born To Shine.
