Islamabad, December 24, 2024: The nation will commemorate the 148th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, tomorrow with great zeal and enthusiasm.

A public holiday has been declared, and the national flag will be hoisted on all public and private buildings across the country. The celebrations will begin with gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals. A changing of the guard ceremony will take place at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi, where representatives of the Pakistan Armed Forces will honor the great leader.

Quran Khawani and prayers will be held at the Mazar-e-Quaid for the eternal peace of Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s soul. Special events, seminars, and discussions are planned nationwide to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam’s vision, leadership, and tireless struggle for the creation of Pakistan. Schools and colleges will host events highlighting his principles of unity, faith, and discipline.

In Karachi, dignitaries, political leaders, and members of the public are expected to visit the mausoleum to lay wreaths and offer their respects. Television and radio channels will broadcast documentaries and special programs shedding light on Jinnah’s life and contributions.

Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan as a progressive, inclusive, and independent nation continues to inspire millions. This day serves as a reminder of his monumental efforts in shaping the country and the responsibility of its citizens to uphold his ideals.
