Islamabad, December 26, 2024: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has announced plans to file appeals against the recent verdicts handed down by military courts.

In a statement, Barrister Gohar said, “We will challenge the sentences issued by the military courts, both collectively and individually.” He also urged the Supreme Court to expedite its decision regarding the military trials case and reiterated the call for a judicial commission to investigate the incidents of May 9 and November 26.

The announcement comes as additional convictions were made in connection with the May 9 events.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 60 more individuals involved in the violence have been sentenced by the Field General Court Martial.
