Islamabad, January 14, 2025: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has scheduled the hearing for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intra-party election case for January 21.

The Chief Election Commissioner has issued notices to PTI representatives Rauf Hassan and Barrister Gohar, as well as the petitioners involved in the case. The ECP has also allowed PTI to submit its response ahead of the hearing.

The case pertains to PTI’s intra-party elections held in March 2024, with the Election Commission set to hear arguments and address concerns regarding the process.

The outcome of the hearing could have significant implications for PTI’s internal governance and its compliance with the ECP’s regulations.
