ISLAMABAD, January 24, 2025: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly cold and dry weather across most parts of the country, with extremely cold conditions persisting in hilly areas, particularly during the morning and night hours.

According to the PMD, continental air continues to dominate the region, driving the current weather pattern. Over the past 24 hours, cold and dry conditions prevailed nationwide, with hilly regions enduring harsh temperatures.

The PMD has advised residents of mountainous areas to take necessary precautions against the freezing temperatures, particularly during nighttime.
