Islamabad: Parliament Illuminated in Green to Commemorate 50 Years of Ahmadis Declared Non-Muslims.

Islamabad – September 7, 2024 – To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the law that declared Ahmadis as non-Muslims, the Parliament building in Islamabad was illuminated with green lights.

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) took to social media to highlight that the legislation, which defined Ahmadis as non-Muslims, was enacted exactly 50 years ago. He explained that the green lighting of Parliament was intended as a tribute to the lawmakers who passed the historic bill. Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry extended his respect and admiration to all the parliamentarians and leaders who played a role in the passage of this significant legislation.
