Rawalpindi, September 08, 2024- On the morning of September 7, Afghan Taliban forces launched unprovoked heavy weapon fire from the Pul-e-Charkhi area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, targeting Pakistani military posts. According to sources, the Pakistan Army responded swiftly and decisively, inflicting significant losses on the Taliban. Reports suggest that eight Taliban militants were killed, and sixteen others were wounded during the exchange.

This incident underscores the growing tensions and challenges at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, further straining relations between the two neighboring countries.
