Mumbai, February 12, 2025: Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra’s latest film, Mrs, has become the most searched movie on Google, while also setting a new streaming record on ZEE5.

The film, which follows the journey of a young, ambitious trained dancer navigating the challenges of marriage and self-discovery, has scored the biggest-ever opening on ZEE5, breaking the platform’s previous streaming records.

Announcing the milestone on social media, ZEE5 shared an Instagram post celebrating the film’s massive success:

“Records shattered! Biggest opening ever on ZEE5!”

In a separate post on Monday, the streaming platform also revealed that Mrs had become the most searched movie on Google, further solidifying its growing popularity.

Directed by Aarti Kadav, Mrs is the official Bollywood adaptation of the acclaimed Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen. The movie is co-written by Harman Baweja and Anu Singh Choudhary.

Alongside Sanya Malhotra in the lead role of Richa, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including Nishant Dahiya, Kanwaljit Singh, and Aparna Ghoshal.

With record-breaking streaming numbers and a surge in global search interest, Mrs has firmly established itself as a blockbuster digital hit.
